'My friends and I immensely enjoyed our time at The Old Beach Cottage in Dugort. I actually don't think I can put into words how fantastic the location of the cottage is. I have never stayed in a better one - just steps from the beach, and at the foot of the imposing Slievemore Mountain. Before arriving, I wasn't sure which part of Achill we should stay in, but Dugort was absolutely perfect for us, and I would come back here every time. We climbed Slievemore Mountain on a sunny day and that felt like an amazing accomplishment. We cycled the Greenway on an even sunnier day - how lucky. We swam on the beautiful Dugort beach (in wetsuits) and we walked to Pure Magic for delicious pizza. We visited the church and The Cottage Cafe and the art gallery.  And then the Old Beach Cottage itself - Wow. It was like a magazine. What wonderful decorating taste.  All the beautiful little touches!!! We had a spectacular time, and hope to stay here again, or maybe in the Old Fishermans Cottage. Achill is wonderful, and this is the absolute ideal place to enjoy it from. Sabine was also lovely. Thank you so much for everything!'
