Achill Island is located in the west of Ireland and connected to the mainland by a bridge at Achill Sound.  Our closest airport is Ireland West Airport Knock, a 90 minute drive away.  The airport offers convenient and low cost flights from many destinations within the UK and Europe.  Aer Lingus and Ryanair currently offer flights from as little as £50 return.

Alternatively there are regular ferry crossings from the UK with the high speed service taking just 2 hours and the conventional crossing of 3.5 hours.  It's a very pleasant 4 hour drive to Achill from Dublin.
